Pharma Medical’s Home-Based Child Care (HBCC) Certificate Program in Toronto, Ontario, is your first step toward becoming a qualified, confident, and compliant home child care provider in Canada. This practical home childcare certificate course is designed for individuals who want to operate a safe, nurturing, and professionally run home-based daycare in accordance with Ontario’s regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and the Day Nurseries Act (DNA).

It is a recognized training credential for individuals who want to provide childcare from their own homes in Ontario. Pharma Medical’s HBCC certificate covers child development, CCEYA compliance, health and safety, nutrition, and more – across 12 sessions (24 hours).

Yes. To operate a licensed home daycare in Ontario, you must contract with a licensed home child care agency and meet provincial training and certification requirements. Our HBCC Certificate is a key step in meeting those requirements.

Under Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), a home child care provider can care for a maximum of 6 children (including the provider’s own children under 6 years of age).

Yes. All Home-Based Child Care programs at Pharma Medical are aligned with and monitored in accordance with Ontario’s Day Nurseries Act (DNA) requirements.

Absolutely. You do not need an Early Childhood Education diploma to enroll. The HBCC Certificate is designed for entry-level individuals and those new to the childcare field.
