In this program the students will learn unique traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theoretical system and apply acupuncture skills in the clinical, to become registered acupuncturists.

Program Description

The Acupuncture diploma program is designed in compliance with the entry-level standards of practice set by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). The learning involves theories, practical demonstrations of Acupuncture skills in the classroom and supervised practicum in the clinic.

Students will learn Acupuncture concepts and Technique, TCM foundation, Diagnostics and Acupuncture Treatment, Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Fundamentals of Biomedical, Herbs, Manual Medicine (Tuina), Qigong, Eastern Nutrition and Western Medical Assessment, Professional Ethics and communication, Clinic practice etc.

Admission Requirements

Applicant must hold a Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalence
